3-Week Floral Design Certification Program October 5–23, 2026 | Davie, South Florida Our 3-Week Floral Design Certification Program is an immersive, hands-on educational experience designed to develop your floral design skills through artistry, technique, and professional excellence. Over three carefully structured weeks, students progress from foundational design principles to specialized floral applications, building confidence, creativity, and industry-level preparation in a professional, small-group learning environment. Pathway to CFD Certification Upon successful completion of the program, students will be prepared to take the online Certified Floral Designer (CFD) exam. Students who successfully complete the required examination may earn the CFD credential and CFD membership through the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD), subject to AIFD’s current requirements. Week 1 — Elements & Principles of Floral Design Build a strong foundation through the study of floral design elements and principles, color theory, balance, proportion, composition, and professional mechanics. Week 2 — Flowers to Wear and Carry Learn to create elegant personal flowers for weddings and special events, including bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and other wearable floral designs. Week 3 — Sympathy Flowers Develop the skills to create meaningful floral tributes, including wreaths, sprays, sympathy arrangements, and personalized memorial pieces. By the end of the program, students will leave with refined design skills, greater confidence, and a professional pathway toward earning the respected CFD credential.
